- Living Costumes - Klavdia developed this concept in order to offset the negative impact of fire dancing. So while burning fuel produces toxic gases, plants produce oxygen. Where possible Klavdia attaches live plants to costumes. These plants grow, so the costume is constantly changing. Most of the plants used Klavdia has picked herself from the wild without harming plants in the process. She uses live plants in decor as well.
- Left over cork floor from fixing up Klavdia's apartment was used to make a small stage floor for ground work.
- New fabric used for costumes is 100% organic cotton jersey knit. This type of knit gives a stretch to the fabric, so fabrics with elastane (is a synthetic material) are not necessary. This is important because to this day there is no efficient way to separate mixed fibers of organic and non-organic fabric when it comes to end life cycle.
- Using bio fuels as much as possible. Instead of white gas mixed into the oil we use bio ethanol when available, as bioethanol lights up as fast as white gas, but it has low toxicity and has minimal negative impact on the environment in comparison to white gas.
- Before buying most of the required items for production we first check all the closets and storage spaces at home and ask friends and family when possible, only then we go to a second-hand shop and after to a shop that sells new items. This has not yet applied to fire tools due to safety reasons.
